We worked with Linda from Country Crossroads Floral for our wedding flowers. We had met with several other florists from the Madison area and with each we were told that we would have to increase our floral budget or remove some of the flowers that we wanted. Our cake baker suggested that we contact Linda and it was an amazing find! Linda put together bouquets for myself (the bride) and three bridesmaids, boutonnieres for my husband, our fathers, and the groomsmen, a toss bouquet for a cake topper and to throw, and wrist corsages for our grandmothers, mothers, and the flower girl. All of these were GORGEOUS and included flowers that we had previously been told were out of our price range (peonies, garden roses, etc). In the end the total cost was a fraction of what we had been quoted by vendors from Madison. On our wedding day Linda drove all the way to Baraboo to drop off the flowers in vases. They were exactly what I had envisioned - breathtakingly beautiful (see photos). Working with Linda was also great - she's very friendly and helpful. I came in with pictures and she helped identify the flowers and make suggestions. I never felt like I was being upsold or pressured. Such a relief and a positive experience. I would definitely recommend Country Crossroads to anyone looking to buy flowers - especially brides.
I spent 1 1/2 hours working with her to find something that I liked. She is very nice. I wanted it to cascade with roses and daisies. On the day of the wedding I looked at it and it was all wrong. We had discussed size and it was tiny - my bridesmaids bouquets were bigger and those were small. It was not cascading at all - my photographer first thought that she had just misplaced the rose and it was drooping. She didn't even provide me with a throw bouquet like she was said she would. Also, earlier reviews say that she is cheaper than anywhere else - she is the same price. The only benefit of using her was that she delivered my flowers to Spring Green and floral shops in Madison would not have done that because they are too far away.
